We take you on a guided tour featuring the beauty of St Maarten/St Martin

Long-time resident Sax Watts takes you on a guided tour, allowing you to discover the secrets of the exciting dual island of Dutch St Maarten and French St Martin. For the discerning visitor, we have devised a tour that will show you the main streets that service the Dutch and French side of the Island, but we will also take you along some of the side streets to give you an overall perspective of the entire Island and most importantly, to expose to you some breath-taking picture postcard perfect scenery of our lovely dual island. The duration of the tour is 4 to 5 hours and includes five stops. The rate per person is $50.00.

COLEBAY

As we approach Cole Bay you will see breath-taking views of Cole Bay and Simpson Bay marina, home to most of the world's mega-yachts.

POINTE BLANCHE

Located on the southeastern tip of St Maarten, Pointe Blanche offers spectacular views of Phillipsburg and Great Bay, the new cruise ship terminal, the famous salt pond, and many surrounding islands. On clear days our sister islands of Saba and Statia are visible. St Kitts sometimes makes an appearance and on very clear days the peak of Nevis is visible about 100 miles away.

DAWN BEACH

Fine white powdery sand on the East coast will make your heart beat a couple beats faster. Enjoy spectacular sunrise vistas, while St Barths, a French territory, looms majestically on the southern horizon. Magnificent surf complements this ideal beach.

ORIENT BAY

Sweeping around in a semi-circle on the East coast of the French side and reflecting, the two mile long white powdery sand beach is protected from the Atlantic waves by a series of reefs and islands enclosing a pool of calm, turquoise water. The area is marine reserve and famous for its clothing optional section at the southeastern end on the grounds of Club Orient. Tintamarre, Green key, and Pinel Island, with small and secluded beaches, are within view from Orient Beach. Great for snorkeling!

LUNCH

About three hours into the tour, we have lunch on Orient Bay at the exciting Bay Watch restaurant to meet Andy and Cheryl, who have transported a bit of the Jersey shore to Orient Beach. Please don't forget your camera.

ANSE MARCEL

The Bay of Anse Marcel lies at the very northern tip of the island. Our journey takes you to the peak of the hills protecting the bay revealing a splendid valley to the north and the wide expanse of Orient Bay to the south. The resort tucked into this bay maintains the resemblance of an old colonial plantation with its own marina, white powdery sandy beach, and a variety of restaurants and souvenir boutiques. On a bright and sunny day, looking to the horizon, a long white line of buildings can be seen in Anguilla, our British island neighbor, about five miles across the sea.
